Do shares outstanding update automatically for my stock info? +
Shares outstanding figures do update, but not instantly. When there’s a change—such as from a new filing or corporate action—it takes some time for the updated numbers to appear in our data feeds. This delay isn’t due to a limitation within B2i; it’s a result of how the underlying market data is sourced and processed before it reaches us. If you need the figure updated more quickly, we can manually adjust the shares outstanding upon your instruction, ensuring the change is reflected ahead of the normal data feed update.
