Mpressed Media is a full service digital advertising agency
owned and managed by Rich Taubin in Louisiana. With over 150 clients they have
worked on projects from simple logos to full complex websites. When CEO of
Upstream, Michael Willis asked Taubin to build a website for Al Petrie Advisors
with a partner who would provide content, Taubin quickly agreed. Taubin
completed the initial design in 2 weeks while the other agency only had half
of it complete. Willis completed the website with Mpressed Media.
Taubin was then asked to do
a new website for Adam Resources which included SEC Filings. “This was
something we hadn’t done before and I quickly Googled ‘WordPress SEC Feeds’ to
find a partner—-and found B2i Technologies who had been developing IR
plug-ins for the last 17 years. All our websites are WordPress so this seemed
to be the perfect match.” Said Taubin.
Taubin contacted B2i and Joe Dunlow and discussed doing a
pitch to a new client and they decided to create an IR package demo —-with a live
feed of the client's financials, press releases, and stock data. Adam Resources was being pressured by their
investors as to why updated information wasn’t on the website and why
was the information that was present, wrong?
On the day of the pitch to the client, the demo is ready, but the
CFO was late to the meeting due to having to complete a new press release.
During the pitch, the CFO couldn’t believe the live feed in the demo was their
information and the press release that he just completed 5 minutes ago was in
the feed for all to review, Live in Real-Time. Timing was perfect. Mpressed has
had the client ever since.
